Dianne Perrote of Laramie, WY and Alan at Strawberry Fields in Central Park
Imagine a complete stranger asking to donate to my Bike MC NYC ride! When Nina and Alan were sitting listneing to music at Strawberry Fields in Central Park, they met Dianne Perrote from Laramie, WY who was also enjoying the music. After a few minutes, she asked if she could make a donation to my MS ride! This is truly what the generosity of human spirit is all about!

October 3, 2008 by One Flying ShoePartying with MS Great 8 at La Mela Restaurant ( 167 Mulberry St. Little Italy, New York 212 431-9493) in Little Italy the night before Bike MS NYC. Mike Zimits, MS Great 8 Captain, arranged for MS Great 8 to get togetether and get to know each other before the ride. We all met at La Mela in Little Italy. The meal was a totally amazing family style 6 course Italian feast! There was so much food and it was fabulous. La Mela is a must go to place on any visit to New York. It was great to meet the other riders and share stories of riding and our connectionn to MS. It seemed so amazing to realize how MS touches so many people in so many different ways. I feel so proud to be part of MS Great 8 and ride towards a world without MS. A big thank you to Mike and Catherine for arranging a truly wonderful evening! It really set the stage for riding on Sunday.
